Sizing can vary between brands, products and tailoring blocks. You may wear one size in Cambridge and a different size or fit in Joe Black, Gibson or another Charmer brand.
For the most accurate guidance, choose your size based on the specific product rather than relying on a single universal conversion chart.

- your usual jacket, trouser or shirt size;
- your height and general build;
- any suit or menswear brands that currently fit you well;
- whether you prefer a closer, regular or roomier fit.
We will use the available product measurements, tailoring block and fit information to guide you.
Jackets and suits
Charmer products may be described as slim, tailored, modern or classic fit.
These terms are useful, but they are not identical across every brand. Jacket sizing may also be shown in Australian, European or chest measurements depending on the product.
Trousers
Trouser sizing may be shown in centimetres or inches.
The same waist size can fit differently depending on the rise, cut, leg shape and tailoring block. Some trousers are slimmer through the thigh and seat, while others provide more room.
Shirts
Most tailored shirts use collar sizing in centimetres, such as 39, 41 or 43.
Shirt fit can vary between slim, tailored, modern and classic blocks. Please contact us if you are unsure which fit is most suitable.
